A year round holiday destination...Annual diary of events.
We are not exclusively a summer vacation destination, although of course the summers are wonderful especially with the beautiful beaches we have here in Molise. We are however within an hour and a half drive to 2 ski resorts. In the Winter months there are Live Nativity's in many towns as well as the Spectacular light show in Larino. February is the month of Carnival, the big Feast and Festa before Lent. Spring brings forth the wild flowers and rolling green hills the sun is warm without being too hot making it perfect for visiting the medieval towns dotted around the hillsides. September and October can see people in the sea and on the beaches although the Umbrella beaches will now have closed.

LARINO Spectacular Christmas Lights. The whole of the old town of Larino is transformed into a Winter Wonderland each December and continues into January. It truly deserves the title of Spectacular and is well worth a visit. Each year they change things around, have different light shows etc so is always looked forward to each year.
